Learning Never Really Stops

Looking back, I realise I've never been afraid of learning something new.

People sometimes ask how I learned 3D visualisation.

The answer is surprisingly simple.

I taught myself.

Most of what I know came from YouTube, online tutorials, and countless hours of experimenting.

Whenever I discover a new technique, I can't help but wonder:

"How does this work?"

Then I keep learning until I find the answer.

When I'm searching for design inspiration, Pinterest is usually where I begin.

Not to copy someone else's work, but to ask another question:

"What can I bring to this idea that feels like my own?"

Looking back, I realise this way of learning didn't begin with 3D.

It began much earlier.

During secondary school.

Our computer classes were unlike anything I expected.

We learned how to build websites, write simple code, use Adobe software, record audio, and edit videos. At the time, I didn't fully appreciate how unusual that education was.

Only years later did I realise how much those lessons had shaped me.

When I entered university, I found myself helping classmates with software that many of them had never used before.

That was the first time I thought,

"My school really gave me an incredible foundation."

More importantly, it taught me something beyond technical skills.

It taught me not to be afraid of unfamiliar tools.

That mindset has stayed with me ever since.

Every time a new piece of software appears, I want to explore it.

Not because I have to.

But because I'm genuinely curious.

Today, AI has become another teacher in that journey.

Whenever I get stuck, need to understand a new workflow, or want to explore an unfamiliar idea, it's often the first place I turn.

It doesn't replace learning.

It makes learning more accessible.

Looking back, I don't think my greatest skill is using 3D software.

Or learning AI.

Or even design itself.

I think my greatest strength is simply that I've never stopped being a student.

And perhaps that's why every new tool still feels like the beginning of another adventure.
